1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PolicyDiff application programming interface ("API"), website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Service Description & Beta Usage

PolicyDiff provides a rule-based change monitoring utility for publicly accessible web documents.

BETA DISCLAIMER: YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY IN A "PUBLIC BETA" OR "MVP" PHASE. IT MAY CONTAIN BUGS, ERRORS, OR INACCURACIES. POLICYDIFF DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, SUSPEND, OR DISCONTINUE THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE OR LIABILITY.

3. Usage Restrictions

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from:

• Using the Service to monitor non-public, password-protected, or internal networks.
• Violating the Terms of Service or Robots.txt policies of the target websites you monitor.
• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing Service API keys without express written permission.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the source code of the Service.
• Using the Service to harass, harm, or violate the privacy rights of others.

4. No Legal Advice & Reliance

THE SERVICE IS A TECHNICAL UTILITY, NOT LEGAL ADVICE.

The risk scores, diff results, and compliance signals generated by PolicyDiff are for informational purposes only. They are generated by automated, rule-based algorithms and may not reflect the full legal context of a document. YOU SHOULD STRICTLY NOT RELY ON THE SERVICE FOR LEGAL COMPLIANCE DECISIONS WITHOUT CONSULTING A QUALIFIED ATTORNEY. POLICYDIFF DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY ACTIONS YOU TAKE OR FAIL TO TAKE BASED ON THE SERVICE'S OUTPUT.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL POLICYDIFF, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO POLICYDIFF FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PolicyDiff and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights of the websites you monitor.

8. Payments & Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within seven (7) days of the original purchase date.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout. Refund requests submitted after the 7-day refund window will generally not be eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law or at PolicyDiff's sole discretion.

Subscriptions: Subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Canceling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically generate a refund for previous payments unless the refund request falls within the refund window described above.

Billing Authorization: By purchasing a subscription to the Service, you authorize PolicyDiff and its payment processor to charge the applicable subscription fees to your selected payment method on a recurring basis until the subscription is canceled.

Billing Disputes: If you believe a billing error has occurred, please contact our support team before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve the issue promptly.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
